Ayse Ozel has graduated from the Fine Arts Academy of Istanbul in 1979. She gave more than ten exclusive exhibitions in various towns in Turkey, Ie Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Bursa. She has been painting and exhibiting about 17 years so far. She is known with her peculiar compositions in guvash paintings, taking the roots from traditional Turkish miniature painting, in modern style.

She has given an exhibition in London also in 1994, in Lyric Theatre Circle Gallery. Her paintings are in various collections both in Turkey and abroad.
